Ski & Ride Children's Room Supervisor

Job Summary:  The Ski & Ride Children’s Room Supervisor primarily oversees the daily operation of all junior group lessons. This includes the entire check in process, point of sale, rentals, group assignment, instructor support, lunch orders, clean up and record keeping.

Essential Functions: 

  • Supervise all junior group lessons
  • Promote safety and provide juniors and instructors with the knowledge and skills to remain safe while in lessons
  • Set up all essential children’s room activities and  restock supplies
  • Provide effective feedback to juniors and parents regarding ski and personal development

NOTE:  All Bolton Valley employees are required to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends. 

Customer Service Expectations:  Must be helpful, friendly, courteous and professional in all dealings with juniors and parents in accordance with Bolton’s commitment to providing superior customer service.        

Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience as a teacher, instructor, or coach
  • Experience with junior behavior and development in a recreation setting
  • General understanding of Sirius Ware software a plus

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of snow sports environment
  • Knowledge of ski school operation and progressive junior development
  • Ability to relate with children
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Detail oriented

Physical and Mental Demands:  Required to be standing and moving throughout the day in an indoor class room setting. Constant contact with parents and children can be stressful. 

Work Environment:  Work is performed primarily indoor.
