Bolton Valley Offers Three Cyber Monday Deals to Skiers and Riders; Available Only For 24 Hours;

Snowmaking Begins This Monday to Prepare for Dec. 14 Opening

BOLTON VALLEY, VT (11/25/2013) -

Chiming in on the Cyber Monday craze, Bolton Valley will offer, for just 24 hours, three special deals geared for skiers and snowboarders – either to purchase as gifts or to keep for their own. The sale begins online only on Monday, Dec. 2 at 12 a.m. and will close at midnight on Monday.

In addition, this Monday, Nov. 25, Bolton Valley snowmakers will begin snowmaking efforts in anticipation of the ski area’s opening for the season on Dec. 14.

“We’re hoping to make it a bit easier for folks to purchase some great gifts for skiers and riders for the holidays,” said Josh Arneson, director of sales and marketing. “Many folks think of gear, clothing and accessories when they purchase holiday gifts for the skier or snowboard in their life, but gift cards, lift tickets and other deals on access to the mountain are sometimes forgotten. We’re here to remind people that giving the gift of skiing and riding is easily available too.”

The three deals are:

Free Lift Ticket with the Purchase of a $100 Gift Card. Bolton Valley gift cards maybe be used for lift tickets, season passes, food and beverage, lessons and more. Gift Cards are available online in any denomination. A free early season lift ticket will be included in the purchase of a $100 gift card when the gift card is purchased on Dec. 2, 2013. The lift ticket is valid for one full day of skiing and riding from opening day through Dec. 25, 2013.

Powder Pass Lite: Night Skiing for Under $20/Night. For $99, Powder Pass Lite passholders can ski or ride five nights this season for less than $20/night. The pass is $99 and includes five all-ages night lift tickets for the 2013-2014 season. Passholders can redeem tickets one at a time or multiple tickets in one night. Night skiing is scheduled to start on Dec. 18 and runs from 4-8 p.m. Wednesdays - Saturdays during the season. This special pass will be on sale only on Dec. 2, 2013.

Smuggs Bolton College Season Pass - $299. A perfect gift for the college student in your life who needs a break from the books. This pass reached its full price of $349 on Nov. 1, but for one day, the price will drop to $299. The pass is an unrestricted, all access season pass to Bolton Valley and Smugglers’ Notch Resort. The college season pass also includes discounts on group instruction and equipment rentals. Since Bolton Valley and Smugglers’ Notch Resort are the closest mountains to Burlington, Vt. for skiing and riding, a weekend bus will provide free transportation to the two ski areas when school is in session.
