Bolton Valley to Host the Bolton Valley Bash

A Snowmobile Hill Climb Presented by Rock the Hills VT

BOLTON VALLEY, VT (3/30/2016) -

Snowmobile riders from New England and beyond will fire up their engines at Bolton Valley for the first ever Bolton Valley Bash on Saturday, April 2. The event is a snowmobile hill climb up the resort’s Moonlight trail. Racers will compete in time trials up the 600 foot long course as spectators gather in the base area and alongside the course to catch all the action. Top speeds of nearly 100 miles per hour are expected.

The event is new to Bolton Valley, but one they hope to keep around for years to come. “We were excited when Rock the Hills Vermont contacted us about the event.” said Josh Arneson, vice president of sales and marketing at Bolton Valley. “They have organized scores of snowmobile events over the years and have a tremendous following. We are looking forward to hosting an adrenaline filled day for competitors and spectators alike.”

Racers will be competing for trophies in all classes and top finishers in open classes will receive prize money. Gates open at 7:00am with racing kicking off at 10:30am. The admission price is just $15, while kids ages 10 and under are free. The James Moore Tavern will be open for food and drinks.
