World's Largest Learn to Ski Lesson

Be Part of a Guinness World Record!

Bolton Valley is a participating resort for the World's Largest Learn to Ski Lesson. At 10 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016, we're going to set a new Guinness World Record for the most skiers learning to ski and snowboard at one time!
Ski and snowboard resorts throughout the U.S. will be offering a beginner lesson in an effort to set the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest lesson ever. If you have never skied before, Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. is going to be the perfect opportunity for you to learn a new life-long sport at Bolton Valley! If you already ski or snowboard, then tell your beginner friends and family members about it.

Sign-up in advance by calling 802-434-6873. The first 10 people get a free learn to ski package. Additional $10 packages (lift ticket, equipment, lesson) will be available in advance and on Friday January 8, 2016. 

January 8 Schedule 

  • Meet at Guest Services to Sign-in between 8:30 - 9am. 
  • If rentals are needed please sign-inn at Guest Services first and then go to the Rental Shop at the Main Base Lodge. 
  • Meet outside of the rental shop on the slopeside of the mountain and gather in front of Mighty Mite at 9:30am. 
  • The World's Largest Lesson will begin promptly at 10am. 
  • The lesson will be an hour and a half long, ending at 11:30 sharp.
