Our mission is to provide an environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and rich social relationships. We believe in a multi-age approach to the education and care of young children. Older children act as mentors for younger children, thus reinforcing positive behaviors and skills they already possess. Younger children benefit greatly from the modeling provided by "the big kids." During busy times, our schedule and grouping of children may be modified to reflect and address each child's interests.
The Honey Bear Childcare Center is a licensed, slopeside childcare center located adjacent to the Hotel Lobby. Experienced caregivers lead children in structured activities and group games. Activities include arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor play, singing, dancing, reading, and more! Snacks are included in program rate. A solid food lunch is provided for an additional $5.00 per child. Please bring diaper and baby food needed for infants.
Honey Bear Childcare Center is licensed to accept children up to 12 years of age. During daytime hours, we usually accommodate children up to 6 years of age. Children older than 6 will be accepted at the Director’s discretion. Please see Children’s Programs for alternatives for older children.
2012-2013 Hours and Rates
Monday - Friday Open by reservation only. Reservations need to be made 24 hours in advance. A credit card number will be taken at the time of reservation. Cancellations must be made by 8am of the scheduled day. If a cancellation call is not received then there will be a $20 cancellation fee.

Saturday and Sundays: Open from 8am - 4:30pm, reservations are encouraged but walk-ins will be accepted if space is available.
During President's Week, Feb. 16-24, Honey Bear will be open everyday from 8am - 4:30pm, reservations are encouraged but walk-ins will be accepted.

Ski and Play Days
Most parents want to ski and ride, but sometimes it's hard to find the time while chasing your little one around. That's why Bolton Valley is introducing Ski and Play Days. This package allows parents to enjoy some much needed time on the mountain while their child plays at Honey Bear Child Care.
On Wednesdays parents can get one full day lift ticket and a full day of daycare, including lunch for their child, for just $79. This is a savings of 40% off of retail rates.
Ski and Play Days will also run on Sunday afternoons from 1:00-4:30pm. The price is $79 and includes a half day of daycare (sorry, lunch is not included) and one half day adult lift ticket.
Space is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged. Extra children may be added to either day for just $30 each. Offer includes only one adult lift ticket. Please call 802-434-6866. Offer not valid on Holiday Periods including Feb, 17, 20 or 24.
