Park Your Car on Thursday… Dig Out on Monday…
When you stay in our small base area hotel, you are truly slopeside with everything in a very short walk from your room. Walk down the hall for breakfast and walk down the a couple flights of stairs and you’re at the lift. Pop down to the Sports Center to take a break from the slopes and enjoy a nice soak in the hot tub, sauna, or heated indoor pool or watch the little ones run around in the field house and bounce around in the bouncy house in the adjacent field house. There’s endless fun for everyone when you stay with us.
Park one day, dig out a few days later. We got you in between!
Live Music Every Wednesday & Saturday Evening
Whether it’s an acoustic apres-ski scene in the James Moore Tavern or a ripping live band in the Fireside Room on a Saturday night, Bolton Valley has free live music all winter. Featuring local favorites and exciting new faces, there’s a wide range of acts coming up slopeside, with something for everyone. Join us for cold weather and hot tunes around the base area!
Rent Your Gear Online
Whether you’re looking to rent top-of-the-line skis, snowboards, snowskates or even just forgot a portion of your equipment, we’ve got you covered. Sure you can walk right into the Little Rock Rental Shop (main base area main breezeway), but on many days this can be a VERY busy scene and we highly encourage you to reserve your gear online in advance to help improve your guest experience.
Click the link below to learn more about what we offer, pricing and to reserve your gear in advance so we can get you going on the slopes as quickly as possible once you arrive at the mountain.
Learn to Ski & Ride With Us or Progress Your Skills
We are now booking winter lessons, whether you want to come for a private or group lesson or perhaps partake in one of our multi-week programs. We’ve been teaching folks of all ages and abilities to ski and ride since the dawn of time and our trained instructors would love to teach you to get on the lift and/or take your skill to the next level if this isn’t your first rodeo.
Multi-Week Lesson Programs:
We hope you will consider joining us for one of these tremendous programs:
– 1, 2, 3 Learn to Ski & Ride for ages 4 & up (never evers & beginners only), 3 sessions for 2 hours each
– Thursday (After School) Throwdown Freeride Team (ages 10-18), 2 hour session over 8 weeks
Hope you’ll consider joining us!
New Venues for Weddings and Groups
We are so excited about TWO new venues for your group gathering and/or wedding day!
Care to rent your own private base lodge & lift on a Tuesday to Thursday from early February to mid March this winter? We got you with the Timberline lift and newly renovated Timberline Lodge – a beautiful wedding venue and event space – on days that lift won’t spin for the general public, of course.
We also now (again) own The Ponds a GORGEOUS mountain venue with a long established reputation as one of Vermont’s premier mountain wedding venues.
If you have an event coming up, we’d love to speak with you about the various options here at Bolton Valley.

We Are Family
Independent SpiritChances are, if you learned how to ski in Northern Vermont, you learned at Bolton Valley. Ralph DesLauriers founded Bolton Valley in 1966 with the vision of making skiing accessible for everyone in Vermont. And 50+ years later that vision continues to evolve under the next generation of DesLauriers leadership. Watch Story Time with Ralph and reminisce a bit – no one said building a ski resort was easy! – or tap into our President’s latest thinking with Letters From Lindsay.
Whether celebrating all the good times that got us here or all the exciting growth that is to come, you’re always welcome here!
