Seasonal long lessons are Off!

Ski Instructor meeting students

The first weekend of seasonals went flawlessly! Around 140 students gathered (socially distanced, of course) at staggered meeting times to spend time learning to progress their skiing and riding with one of Bolton Valleys’ finest instructors!

It has been a long awaited time for our students and their families who were eagerly waiting to get out so they can ski and ride. It took our ski and ride school sometime during these strange times to figure out how to best handle these lessons while we waited for more information from the State of Vermont.

The groups have no more than 7 students and the lesson spans 2.5 hours long. We offer morning and afternoon sessions, which is different from our all day experience that we’ve had in the past. In order to meet guidelines and to give our staff, guest, and community the best environment the students are returned during lunch and had the option to book and participate in the afternoon session as well.

Through 11 lessons they will learn new skills and progress to a more skilled level than they were before. Things are a little different this year, but that doesn’t have to stop students from learning!
