Stop 1 of BLT Community Days: Dads, Dogs & Dirt

Join us on the 3rd Saturday of every month starting in June for this new family friendly summer event series with bikes!

Each Saturday in the series will have a different assortment of activities with mountain bike fun for everyone! Stay tuned close to the date of each as we dial in details for each particular date…

1st stop – Sat 6/24: Dads, Dogs & Dirt

On this first stop (and in recognition of Father’s Day) we’ll be celebrating rad dads (and everyone else) with:

• “Buy One Get One Free” lift ticket (or free “buddy ticket” if you’re a Bike Park passholder) on Full Day bike park lift tickets only if you tell a rad dad joke at the ticket counter at Guest Services in main base lodge. Deal available in person at ticket counter only (not online or in combination with any other deal, discount, promo or VMBA voucher for that matter).
• 10am-noon, balance bike obstacle course event (3-6 year olds) located in on one of the upper side parking lots and
• Noon-1pm timed downhill on Broken Bridge for lift riders ages 7 & up. Starting at noon at the top of the Broken Bridge trail we’ll be timing folks on one of our favorite trails. No advance registration or additional entry fee required, just come on up to the start between noon and 1. No losers, all winners… okay, but yeah, someone will get the fastest time…

And lastly, if you’re a dad, head on over to the Sports Center for a free hot dog! Wait, what?!?!?! Did someone say free hot dogs for rad dads???? Radical… may as well bring a bathing suit while you’re at it because the outdoor (heated) pool opens this weekend and there’s certainly worse places to kick your feet up!
