Demos: During the day a variety of boards and bindings will be available to try out from brands such as Burton, Voile, Never Summer, Rome, Spark R&D, Weston Snowboards, Jones Snowboards, and Karakoram.

Uphill 101: This brief instructional session will take you on a short tour around Bolton where you will get to see what it’s like to earn your turns. We will share some tips on setting up your board, skinning up-hill, and provide you with some pointers to help you get the most out of your next uphill adventure.

Bolton BC Beginner Tour: On this tour we will depart from the demo area and take a scenic tour of the Bolton Backcountry Area. We will visit the Bryant Camp Cabin, Stowe View, eventually ending our tour at the top of the Wilderness Lift. This tour is ~4 miles in total and will take 1.5-2 hours to complete. This tour will depart at 10:00am, and 12:30pm. All are welcome, and there is no cap on participation.

Weston Snowboards Beginner Tour: This will be an introductory tour guided by representatives from Weston Snowboards. It’s free, includes demos if you need them, and will last ~2 hours. Space for this tour is limited to 6 participants. To register visit the Weston Tent as soon as you can on Sunday morning.

Uphill/Downhill Race Course: Burton Snowboards will be organizing a fun and challenging race at 2:00PM. Anyone and everyone is invited to come out. The final course won’t be revealed until the day of the event, but there will be uphill and downhill legs. We promise it will be ridiculous, heinous, challenging, and incredibly fun! The event will begin with a mass start, and hopefully everyone will participate! There will also be a special prize for the winners!

Raffle: At the end of the day we will raffle off a selection of prizes donated by our sponsors. The money raised by the raffle will go to support the activities of the Vermont Backcountry Alliance and Catamount Trail Association. Faffle tickets will be on sale at the event for (1)$5, (5)$10, (15)$20
