Foliage Check September 19

Two Lift Riders Turn in their Chair to Admire the View

Year after year, as reliable as Grandma’s meatballs always were, there’s an internal debate at Bolton Valley around when the peak foliage will hit in the coming weeks. And you know what we’ve learned? No one really seems to know for certain, though… so we figured, why not just track it this fall?

So that’s what we intend to do. We’ll probably get the drone up from time to time and other times we’ll keep it terrestrial. We figure it’s good practice for our daily snow stake measurements and reporting coming soon with our good friend the Pink Panther.

Join us for a ride to the top of Vermont (and back down!)

But just like winter, we pride ourselves on trying to empower our guests to Know Before You Go, and why should trying to track the perfect time to take that scenic fall chairlift ride be any different. I mean, let’s face it, you should probably just take one every weekend through mid October, but if you have to cherry pick, well, we’ll try to keep you posted on what to expect.
