As you may have noticed, we have a lot of projects happening on the mountain right now – including the hotel renovation, a bull wheel repair on the Vista lift, work road repairs and stockpiling material for future trail work. For your safety and the safety of our staff, we have decided we need to close our work road to all recreational traffic on weekdays until further notice. This means that all mountain bike trails are currently closed Monday through Friday. There’s simply too much heavy equipment and work vehicles going up and down the hill right now. We anticipate this closure may continue until the snow flies as we continue our work to ramp up for winter.
Hikers: you are welcome to hike via Turnpike to the Wilderness Peak or up Snowflake to the Timberline Peak, but please – stay off the workroad and adhere to all signage and roped off trails.
