Local. Independent. Groovy.

Just 30 minutes from Burlington, Stowe, Montpelier and the Mad River Valley, whatever season you visit you’ll enjoy nature’s beauty from the highest base area ski resort elevation in the state of Vermont… with glorious sunset views from our west facing slopes, too!

Oh, and did we mention we’re a locally owned and operated independent business? Kind of a rare bird in this age of consolidated ski resorts owned by out-of-state corporations. Not us. Not here. We’re a little different. Kind of a David vs Goliath situation over here. It’s not easy. Will you share in the groove with us?

Ralph DesLauriers built the resort in the ’60s, owned and operated it into the ’90s until it fell on hard times like so many other small to medium ski areas of that time. After several ownership groups had a go for 20+ years, Ralph and the next generation of DesLauriers came home to take Bolton Valley back to the future.

Lindsay, Eric, Adam and Evan DesLauriers have proven more than worthy torch bearers and we hope you’ll consider joining us at our small, local business that’s once again owned by the founding family (and a group of local investors that have helped us make A LOT of capital improvements over the last 7+ years with the “return of the Ralph”).

And for those visiting from further afield, WELCOME to Vermont and Bolton Valley!

Check out our small slopeside hotel – we think you’ll love our central location, just off Interstate 89, and close to so many things. We are just 30 minutes from Burlington & Stowe, 3 hours from Boston and 2 hours from Montreal. We are also the closest ski resort to Burlington International Airport (Delta, United, JetBlue, and more!)
