Recommended Equipment & Rentals

For this course, metal edged skis with 3-pin boots and bindings and leashes are required, and plastic telemark boots are highly recommended, but lighter synthetic or leather 3-pin boots are also acceptable.. Equipment such as the Madshus Epoch, mounted with Voile 3-Pin Cable Bindings, and Scarpa T4 boots would work well. It is possible to get by with lighter equipment. However, if you are just starting to learn, more supportive gear will be easier to handle.

Possible options for securing rental equipment include: Outdoor Gear Exchange (Burlington), and the rental centers at the mountain - though please call ahead to guarantee availability.

Lodging is available on-site at the Inn at Bolton Valley w/ discounts available for participants.
