The Mad Taco Comes To Bolton Valley

The Mad Taco comes to Bolton Valley ski resort winter 2020-21

We are thrilled to announce that beginning with this winter 2020-21 Bolton Valley and Mad Taco are partnering up to offer this exciting new dining option at the mountain. They will be located in the space known as the Village Cafe (former home of Bailey’s Restaurant) across the Village Circle from the Main Base Lodge entrance under the clock tower. It will be take-out only and they will have their own dedicated phone line for people to place orders ahead and then pick up at the time they give you over the phone to take with you and enjoy outside, in your car and/or put in your bag for the chair lift or tour of the backcountry.

“Well, its been almost ten years since we opened in the Mad River Valley,” said Chef-Owner Joey Nagy. “With continued growth throughout the state we are excited to partner with Bolton Valley Resort and finally get on the slopes. Cheers!!!”

Add this to the rather long list of thing we’re doing to help keep people safe this winter, but also add it to the list of reasons we’re super stoked for this winter!

We’re convinced this legendary local institution will be the perfect complement to our own food and beverage offering at the mountain this winter. Their commitment to using local ingredients wherever possible matches our ethos to the core, but they take it a step beyond with nearly anyone around… Chef-Owner Joey Nagy and his partner Georgia Von Trapp run Marble Hill Farm in Fayston, directly supplying all Mad Taco locations with much of the tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers, greens, cilantro, herbs, and a number of other vegetables they use both in house and for their catering company, Cast Iron Catering. In addition, Marble Hill Farm’s pasture raised goats make it on to our menu as specials, when available. Combining everything form their very own hyper-local ingredients to regional ingredients for their smoked meats and not-to-be-missed house made hot sauces, you. are. in. for. a. treat.

More details on opening dates and ordering instructions will be provided as we get closer to opening weekend, but they plan to be open in time for lifts spinning (currently targeting the last weekend in November for that). Stay tuned.
