Back for our 5th Year, our Backcountry camp is a two day event led by women and non-binary staff for women and gender-expansive skiers and riders!<\/p>\n
Participants will get to enjoy multiple skinning tours for both skiing and splitboarding, an intro to uphill\/backcountry clinic, a waxing and tuning demo or yoga class, and access to the Sports Center indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub.<\/p>\n
The group will be split into three main groups, that may split off into smaller ones during the 2 days. The groups are based on your spiciness (ability) level:<\/p>\n
Bell Pepper:<\/strong> New to Uphill and the Backcountry. Join our intro course and learn how to venture into the woods. For this camp, we recommend skiers and snowboarders feel comfortable skiing\/riding through wooded areas, through variable conditions, and through deeper snow. \nJalape\u00f1o Pepper:<\/strong> The group ranges from folks who have gone a few times into the backcountry and feel confident on their skins to those who go regularly but prefer a moderate pace.
\nGhost Pepper:<\/strong> These skiers and riders venture into the backcountry often and like to maximize the number of runs during their time out in the wild.<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
