Group Lessons
We try to put skiers and riders of similar ability together in the same groups. Please review ourSkier and Rider Ability Chartto figure out which rating you are. Knowing your rating ahead of time will help us get you into the correct group and maximize your enjoyment of the lesson.
Beginner Packages for Adults and Teens: Learn To Love It at Bolton Valley
Our 3-Day Learn To Love It Program provides you with three days of beginner lessons, giving you a solid start on skiing or riding. Upon completion of your third day you will receive the Learn To Love It card which entitles the cardholder to 50% off of full day lift tickets, lessons and full day rentals for the remainder of the 2012-2013 Season. It's our way of saying thanks for learning to ski or ride with us.
Adult and teen prices are for lesson only. Lessons last 90 minutes and meet at 10:00am and 1:00pm every day. Season pass holders receive a 20% discount on all group lessons. These lessons are for first timers only.

Children
Ages 4-12 Ski, Ages 6-12 Snowboard
Kids ski, ride, and explore the mountain in a fun-filled, action-packed day with friends and a dedicated instructor. Drop-off, lunch, and breaks are in the Explorer Clubhouse in the lower level of the Base Lodge. Kids are grouped according to age and ability. Lunch is included in full day lessons.
Kids group lessons meet at 9:45am and 12:45pm in the Explorer Clubhouse.

Adult and Teen
Bolton Valley offers daily group lessons for adults and teens ages 13 and up. Groups meet at our "Meeting Place" sign directly behind the Base Lodge at 10am and 1pm. Our Pros arrange groups based upon your ability, experience, and goals. We offer several lesson options and packages, so that we can best build your skills and teach you what you want to learn. Bolton Valley is a Burton Learn to Ride Center
In 2006 Bolton Valley partnered with Burton to introduce the Learn to Ride program (LTR). Burton LTR is the best way to learn how to snowboard. It combines the most advanced equipment, teaching techniques, and learning environments to bring you a fantastic snowboarding experience and take your riding to new heights. Burton LTR is awesome for first-timers: our instructors are knowledgeable, passionate, and patient; our LTR boards are soft and forgiving so that you can make your first turns in style.
All adult snowboard lessons at Bolton Valley are part of the Burton Learn to Ride program.
