Tracking the Fall Foliage
Leaves are falling and the colors are starting to show, it’s time to track our progress into fall once again! Check out this recap from last year’s peak week and stay tuned as we observe and document the changing of hues for the autumn season.
Ride Bikes FREE for the Rest of the Year!
2023 Bike Park Season Passes Now on Sale
- Lock in the lowest price of the year!
- Ride the rest of this fall for “FREE” on next year’s pass!
$299 Adults (18+)
$199 Youth (17 & Under)
$100 Pedal Pass (trail access, but no lift access – all ages)
That’s right, just like the winter season pass sale that begins early March each winter (for the winter following), when you buy your season pass at the first possible moment you get a pretty big bonus. You not only rest assured you got the best deal that will ever be available on that pass (which is pretty sweet all by itself), but you also get to enjoy the rest of the current season gratis on next year’s pass. Hard to beat that 1-2 value punch!

New Venues for Weddings and Groups
We are so excited about TWO new venues for your group gathering and/or wedding day!
Care to rent your own private base lodge & lift on a Tuesday to Thursday from early February to mid March this winter? We got you with our newly renovated Timberline Lodge, now a beautiful wedding venue and event space (in addition to ski base lodge on Fridays to Mondays when we aim to spin that lift to the general public this winter). Reach out to our team if you’d like more information on booking this space (and lift) midweek.
We also now (again) own The Ponds and will , across the road from the new and improved Timberline Lodge, about a mile down before the Main Base Area on the Access Road. This GORGEOUS mountain venue has a long established reputation as one of Vermont’s premier wedding venues with beautiful sunset views.
If you have an event coming up, we’d love to speak with you about the various options here at Bolton Valley.
Winter Season Long Lesson Programs & Lease Equipment
It’s back to school season, which means it’s also time to secure your winter season long program spot. Some of these tend to sell out pretty quickly, so you might not want to delay much here. Most of the programs are pretty similar to last year, with a few modest price hikes, far less than the inflation of the last year. We are committed to providing a very good value for our families and this program is probably one of the highest culminations of that mission (along with our commitment to affordable After School Programs and the CHILL program that’s ongoing and designed to reduce financial verticals for youth to learn to ski & ride with us).
We hope you will consider joining us for one of these tremendous programs:
– 1, 2, 3 Learn to Ski & Ride for ages 4 & up (never evers & beginners only), 3 sessions for 2 hours each
– 10 Week Season Long Programs (ages 4-18) ranging from 2.5 to 6 hours on Saturdays & Sundays
– Thursday (After School) Throwdown Freeride Team (ages 10-18), 2 hour session over 8 weeks
Hope you’ll consider joining us!

We Are FamilyIndependent Spirit
Chances are, if you learned how to ski in Northern Vermont, you learned at Bolton Valley. Ralph DesLauriers founded Bolton Valley in 1966 with the vision of making skiing accessible for everyone in Vermont. And 50+ years later that vision continues to evolve under the next generation of DesLauriers leadership. Watch Story Time with Ralph and reminisce a bit – noone said building a ski resort was easy! – or tap into our President’s latest thinking with Letters From Lindsay.
Whether celebrating all the good times that got us here or all the exciting growth that is to come, you’re always welcome here!
