Bolton ValleyJoin Us at Summer Camp!
Once again, we’ll be offering 3 different camp programs staggered every week from late June to late August. With Mountain Kids (Adventure) Camp, Mountain Bike Camp and Skate Camp together we’ll climb, run, jump & hike all around our massive outdoor playground with thousands of acres of the Bolton Valley Wilderness. We incorporate a diverse mix of games into all of our camps programming, including soccer, tennis, volleyball, badminton, disc golf, ping pong, foosball, manhunt, stoke-ball and many more.
Our more specialized camps spend more time on our incredible Mountain Bike Park and indoor Skate Park, but all camps have access to this as well. Our beginner to advanced Mountain Bike trails as well as the Progression Zone are ideal for teaching youth of all ability levels to love biking like we do. And our Skate Camp takes advantage of our expansive skatepark with a wide range of features for all ability levels.

Mountain Bike Trails are OPEN for Pedal/Uphill Access
The mountain bike trails are riding really well thanks to our trail crew with an assist from the world class team at Gravity Logic. We were excited to debut the newest segment of our machine built Blue Jump trail with the opening of pedal/uphill trail access on May 13. Bike Park (and scenic lift rides) begin spinning in June and we. cannot. wait!
Come Dine With Us
The Tavern, Base Cafe and Deli are all now open
Join us after your hike, mountain bike, round of disc golf and/or trial run for delicious cuisine at the legendary James Moore Tavern. Spring hours have begun with dinner services from 4 to 9 pm Thursday to Saturday evenings until our expanded summer schedule kicks in late June. The tavern joins the deli which is open 7 days a week from 8am to 4pm.
Hope to see you around the mountain soon!
Live Music on the Lawn Free Wed & Fri Beginning 6/24
We’ve announced the initial lineup of music we have booked for the return of this summer’s coveted concert series. More shows will be announced very soon.
These free shows pair nicely with a hike, dip in the river or our new outdoor pool, scenic lift ride, mountain bike, round of disc golf, and of course creemees, full bar and beautiful sunsets.
And let’s face it, whether summer or winter, it’s cooler up here, which means those unbearable summer days and nights can really be rescued by a dip in the cool mountain water and fresh mountain breeze.
New Venues for Weddings and Groups
We are so excited about TWO new venues for your group gathering and/or wedding day!
We recently purchased The Ponds and will begin operating weddings out of that well established wedding venue at the end of this year. But we also just finished a renovation of the Timberline Base Lodge, which is receiving rave reviews. Wait until you see the new “Grand Room” in that space that opens right up to a bar and kitchen ready to make your group gathering or wedding a day to remember.
If you have an event coming up, we’d love to speak with you about the various options here at Bolton Valley.
Almost Hiking and Trail Running Season…
Just need the snow to melt from the peaks and trails to dry first 😉
So many great options to run and hike around Bolton Valley’s expansive trail network, from Timberline Base Area to the Sports Center and Nordic trails to the Main Base Area and lookout tower at the top of Vista Peak. A friendly reminder that our four legged furry friends are not welcome on Vista or Wilderness terrain (just like winter) as that is a Bike Park, but we encourage you to enjoy some of the other great hikes and trail running options (including our 5k) with your dog-o in tow.
See all the great options to tromp the trails via our summer trail map.
We Are Family
Independent SpiritChances are, if you learned how to ski in Northern Vermont, you learned at Bolton Valley. Ralph DesLauriers founded Bolton Valley in 1966 with the vision of making skiing accessible for everyone in Vermont. And 50+ years later that vision continues to evolve under the next generation of DesLauriers leadership. Watch Story Time with Ralph and reminisce a bit – noone said building a ski resort was easy! – or tap into our President’s latest thinking with Letters From Lindsay.
Whether celebrating all the good times that got us here or all the exciting growth that is to come, you’re always welcome here!
