When should I arrive for my lesson?

We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your lesson start time if you already have your equipment. If you need rentals, please plan extra time (see Rentals & Equipment below).

What should I bring with me?

Please bring weather-appropriate clothing, gloves or mittens, and eye protection. We sell all of the ‘forgot on the counter at home’ items if by chance you forget something.

Are there different arrival expectations on peak days?

Yes. Peak days and holiday weekends are busier, so we strongly recommend arriving earlier than usual, especially if you need rentals.

What else comes with my lesson?

Lesson pricing does not include a lift ticket or rentals.

Where do I check in for my lesson?

Most lesson participants can go directly to the blue Ski & Ride Flag in the base area. Our instructors will meet you there.

Do I need to check in at the Ski & Ride Desk?

You only need to check in at the Ski & Ride Desk if you are picking up a Learn to Love It (LTLI) Ticket or an INDY Learn to Turn package. All other standard lessons meet at the blue flag.

What if I’m not sure where to go?

No worries. Look for the blue Ski & Ride Flag or ask any Bolton Valley team member in the base area and they’ll point you in the right direction.

Where do I go if I need rentals?

If you need equipment, please go to Rentals first before heading to your lesson meeting location. Our Rental shop is located in the main breezeway.

How early should I arrive for rentals?

  • Regular days: arrive 30–45 minutes before your lesson

  • Peak and holiday weekends: arrive at least 1 hour before your lesson

This helps ensure you’re fitted and ready to start on time.

Where do INDY Learn to Turn and Learn to Love It guests start?

INDY Learn to Turn and Learn to Love It guests should start at Rentals to pick up equipment and lesson materials. After Rentals, you’ll be directed to the appropriate check-in or meeting location.

What happens if I’m late for my lesson?

If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your lesson may need to be rescheduled, depending on instructor availability.

Can I reschedule my lesson?

Rescheduling is subject to availability. We strongly recommend arriving early to avoid missing your lesson time, especially on peak days.

What happens if I miss my lesson?

Missed lessons may not be refundable. Please review the cancellation policy when booking.
