Rider Runners and Ridge Riders

Bolton Valley's extremely popular, weekend, season-long instructional programs are the Ridge Runners (skiers, age 6-12) and Ridge Riders (snowboarders, age 6-12). Families elect to participate nearly every Saturday or Sunday starting the weekend of Dec. 8-9, 2018, thru March 23-24.

The program is staffed by Bolton Valley's top coaches, which allows for strong instructional relationships, familiarity and increased on-snow confidence. Once the evaluations are completed and the groups are set, the Ridge Runner or Ridge Rider group will progress and learn as a cohesive unit in groups of 8-10 students. Throughout the 2018-2019 Season periodically the groups will have different coaches who will add their expertise. This will ensure that we are giving our students the best possible Ridge Runner/Rider experience. Both Saturday and Sunday run from 9:00am - 2:30pm. Progrms do not include lunch.

Parents receive regular communication throughout the program from coaches and program supervisors. Kids will participate in fun events such as the year-end Cookie Race and the Ice Cream Social & Sundae Party. Mini Runner and Mini Rider Programs

These entry level programs are designed for our youngest skiers (Mini Runners) and riders (Mini Riders) ages 5 and 6 (must be 5 on or before Dec. 8, 2018) and feature specially trained coaches. The half-day instructional time is just the right length for this age group and participants will benefit from weekly skiing or riding just like the older kids do in our award winning full-day Ridge Runner and Ridge Rider programs. Mini Runner and Mini Riders will maximize their learning through group consistency and continuity. Dates coincide with the full-day Ridge Runners and Ridge Rider programs. This program is designed for beginner skiers and riders only. Saturday and Sunday Mornings from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
