Today's Weather: Partly cloudy sky Sunday with temperatures climbing into the 20s in the afternoon.
Extended Weather: Expecting temperatures pretty consistently in the teens and 20s for most of the week, which is music to our snowmaking team's ears.
Updated Sunday, December 9th at 8:21 AM

Sorry to be redundant, but the high elevation mountain magic just keeps producing. We've received 16" of snow in the last week and it's becoming hard to remember the last time it didn't snow around here, to be honest. We received another 1-2" of fresh, light, fluffy snow here at the base area over night and it's just another day in paradise. We expect warmer temperatures today and smiles for miles as it feels a lot more like mid winter than early December.

We've received 16" of snow in the last week and will spin all 5 base area lifts again today starting with the Vista Quad and Mid Mountain lifts at 9am, with Wilderness joining the party at 10am. There is still plenty of powder to be found in pockets all over the main mountain area, especially for those that like to play in the woods.  Breakfast is served from 7-10am in the James Moore Tavern, so come on up early for a primo parking spot with a side of corned beef hash and eggs.  Our terrain park on Hide Away features 5 hits and 2 jumps and our brand new skate park is now open to the public.

TODAY is your last chance to snag a Powder Pass, which gets you five unrestricted dates for $199 at Bolton Valley. Also, Bolton pass holders receive 20% off everything in the brand new Big Rock Mountain shop all season long and 30% off a new snowboard, skis, boots and/or bindings through this opening weekend.

All uphill traffic is restricted to Wilderness and the backcountry trails, TIMBERLINE IS STRICTLY CLOSED to all uphill and downhill traffic until further notice, and all traffic is asked to stay away from snowmaking hoses and equipment, as well as mountain operations vehicles and equipment. Don't worry, it'll all be open again soon. Please watch our website for information on uphill/downhill skiing and route openings and closures and our updated uphill/backcountry policy within the coming weeks.

See you on the mountain!
