Babe Force x She Jumps: ‘Advice for Girls’ Screening

Join SheJumps and Bolton Babe Force to celebrate International Women’s Day with a screening of Advice For Girls!
Before the screening, grab a night ticket and hit the slopes for some laps before coming down to the Village Café at 7:30 PM (at the end of the alpine village closest to the main parking lot, looker’s left of the clock tower). The screening will begin at 8:00 PM, followed by a raffle.
“Advice for Girls” puts a spotlight on the collective experience of women in the ski industry. The film showcases advice from three generations of women in skiing. Each generation reminds women and girls of all ages that they are worthy of success, allowed to take up space, and are extremely valuable to the ski industry.
With an intersectional cast featuring all types of women – women of color, queer women, women with disabilities, and more – the crew hopes that everyone can find someone in the film to connect to.
“My hope is that the film will help girls skip over some of the limiting beliefs imposed upon past generations of skiers and inspire them to show up as their truest selves,” says producer and athlete Addy Jacobsend. Featuring an all-female cast and crew, Advice for Girls is a must-see ski film for any skiing enthusiast.

What to expect
Parking and getting to the event: First time going to Bolton Valley? Check out their website to learn more about how to get there and what to expect for parking and navigating the base area.
Access: The Village Cafe is on the ground-level of the resort hotel, located at the far left corner of the horseshoe, and you can enter beneath the clock tower. However, coming from the main parking requires an uphill walk. If you need special parking accommodation, please let us know in advance.
During the event: there will be unfacilitated mingle time before the film screenings.
Seating: Seating and standing options will be provided. If you require a seat for the event, please let us know in the checkout process.
Film showing: the films will have audio & visual components. We will not be able to provide subtitles or an interpreter for the films .
