Fireside Music Series – Workingman’s Army

Workingmans Army is an Eclectic Rock outfit based out of the heart of the Green Mountains in Burlington Vermont. We play a plethora of styles and genres and explore the extremes of dynamic all the while maintaining strong melodies that anyone can get into. It is our belief that we are in a new age of music where most every listener has every kind of music in there catalog. We strive to break down the boundaries of particular style and fuse all types of music together. We do this because it is our belief that every kind of sound whether soft or loud, fast or slow, jazz or metal, and so on, represents a different part of who we are what we think and what we’re feeling and it’s ridiculous to think that one genre can represent the complex states of emotion that we as human beings experience. It is out of fear that bands align themselves with one style or another and it is time that we as a music community stand up to this preconceived notion and play what we feel.
