“…we must acknowledge the irony of the fact that Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is one of the ski industry’s biggest weekends of the year while, according to SIA (Snowsports Industries America), fewer than 10% of skiers identify as black and nearly 70% as white.” – President Lindsay

RESORT WALK THROUGH WITH PRESIDENT LINDSAY
We’ve adjusted the way we operate for winter 2020-21 in order to be as safe and efficient as possible. Check out this video with President Lindsay as she takes us through some of these changes.
7 Steps For Success
This year is going to be different. In order for things to work out, we’re going to need your help and cooperation in making sure that we operate as safely and efficiently as possible. We’ve boiled it down to seven steps to be familiar with before joining us on the mountain this year. With a little help from you all, we know we’ll have just as great a year as ever!
The Nordic Trails are Open Including Friday & Saturday Nights Under the Lights, and Nordic + Snowshoe Lessons!
Did someone say Night Nordic? Oh yeah, that was us! Every Friday and Saturday night until 7:30pm. Also, Private, Group, and Family Nordic Skiing lessons and Snowshoe tours are now available! We’ll have Nordic and snowshoe rentals available at the Sports Center as well. And yes, you will need a ticket, like any other trail use around here. The same NBU Ticket (and all passes that are valid for NBU trail access on Friday and/or Saturday nights) are required to join us, but we’ll have the lights on from dusk until 7:30pm on Picnic Loop. What better way to stay active, healthy and warm!
We Are Family
Independent SpiritChances are, if you learned how to ski in Northern Vermont, you learned at Bolton Valley. Ralph DesLauriers founded Bolton Valley in 1966 with the vision of making skiing accessible for everyone in Vermont. And 50+ years later that vision continues to evolve under the next generation of DesLauriers leadership. Watch Story Time with Ralph and reminisce a bit – noone said building a ski resort was easy! – or tap into our President’s latest thinking with Letters From Lindsay.
Whether celebrating all the good times that got us here or all the exciting growth that is to come, you’re always welcome here!
Vermont’s BEST Night Skiing
Bolton is Lit… with LED’s!Just 30 minutes from Burlington and Montpelier, Bolton Valley offers night skiing until 10pm Tuesday through Saturday. So why not Drive Less & Ski More?
