Over a Foot of Snow Has Fallen At Bolton Valley Since Thursday

BOLTON VALLEY, VT (2/5/2018) –

Two separate snowstorms have brought over a foot of snow to Bolton Valley, Vermont. While the resort regularly sees snowstorms that are much larger, these two storms come after a two week snow drought, and the new snow is welcomed by all skiers and riders. Five inches of snow fell on Thursday night, Feb 1. That storm was followed up by eight inches of snow that fell on Sunday through Monday morning, Feb. 4 – 5.

The new snow has allowed the resort to more than double its open trail count, climbing from 22 open trails on Thursday to 57 on Monday. The mountain also offers $25 lift tickets every non-peak Monday and skiers and riders took advantage of the new snow and low prices.
